Holdfast features four distinct game types, each set in a different era and theater of war. Each game type brings unique weapons, maps, classes, and gameplay mechanics.

Nations At War

The original Napoleonic-era experience. Fight across sprawling battlefields, storm coastal fortifications, and command warships in epic naval engagements. Features muskets, sabres, bayonets, cannons, cavalry, and a full roster of Napoleonic infantry, officer, and specialist classes.

  • Line infantry, cavalry, artillery, and naval combat
  • 11 game modes including Battlefield, Army Assault, Siege, Naval Assault, and Conquest
  • Period-accurate muskets, rifles, pistols, swords, and polearms

American Revolution

Fight across the battlefields of the American Revolution with British and American forces. This game type focuses on objective-driven battles, colonial-era battlefields, and period factions from the American War of Independence.

  • British Empire and American Loyalist factions
  • Invasion and Offensive game modes built around staged objectives
  • American Revolution maps including Bunker Hill, Delaware, Saratoga, Boston, and Lexington
  • Colonial-era combat with Holdfast's line infantry, artillery, and command systems

Frontlines WW1

Step into the trenches of World War I. Frontlines introduces bolt-action rifles, machine guns, trench warfare, and the brutal close-quarters combat of the Great War. Features distinct WW1 classes, new maps, and the Offensive game mode.
