Holdfast features four distinct game types, each set in a different era and theater of war. Each game type brings unique weapons, maps, classes, and gameplay mechanics.
Nations At War
The original Napoleonic-era experience. Fight across sprawling battlefields, storm coastal fortifications, and command warships in epic naval engagements. Features muskets, sabres, bayonets, cannons, cavalry, and a full roster of Napoleonic infantry, officer, and specialist classes.
Era: Napoleonic Wars (early 19th century)

Fight across the battlefields of the American Revolution with British and American forces. This game type focuses on objective-driven battles, colonial-era battlefields, and period factions from the American War of Independence.
Era: American Revolution (late 18th century)

- Invasion and Offensive game modes built around staged objectives
- American Revolution maps including Bunker Hill, Delaware, Saratoga, Boston, and Lexington
- Colonial-era combat with Holdfast's line infantry, artillery, and command systems
Frontlines WW1
Step into the trenches of World War I. Frontlines introduces bolt-action rifles, machine guns, trench warfare, and the brutal close-quarters combat of the Great War. Features distinct WW1 classes, new maps, and the Offensive game mode.
Era: World War I (1914–1918)
