Morale Boosters provide area-of-effect buffs to nearby Rank & File, increasing accuracy and reload speed through music and standards.
Flag Bearers
The flag bearers carry the standard of their faction into battle, motivating the Rank & File to pour shots into the enemy at an ever increasing pace. Their flags provide an AoE bonus that extends to approximately compass range. Armed with a pistol and sabre, they can defend themselves if need be, or humiliate their enemies by slicing them up with their flags.

Healers keep the fighting force alive by tending to the wounded on the battlefield.
Surgeons
Surgeons selflessly run across the battlefield to tend to the wounds of injured comrades. A health bar appears above any injured men, allowing them to prioritise their triage. Don't be fooled, however, in thinking that these men have taken an oath to do no harm. Armed with a pistol and sabre, they can rapidly turn their white coats red with the blood of their foes. Surgeons stand out on the mini-map with a different icon.
