Overview
The Rank & File make up the bulk of the fighting forces on each side. On land these men stand shoulder to shoulder to fire volleys at the enemy, while at sea they man the cannons and take boarding action.
Line Infantry (Standard)
The stalwart line infantryman. Armed with a musket and bayonet, he is motivated by the orders of the Officers and the patriotic encouragement of the Morale Boosters to perform above and beyond the capabilities of a single man.

Line Infantry (Variant)
In addition to the standard line infantry, each faction has a variant line infantry class. The British have the 92nd Gordon Highlanders, the French the Legion de la Vistule, and the Prussians the Lutzow Freikorps.
